Little Flinders, Canggu Bali

Strolling around to Canggu area during our last holiday last year, which the plan was to visit Finn Beach which were very popular visited by tourists. But because we weren’t familiar with all the way there, we decided to use Google Maps application, which directs us to the newest Finn Beach Club, and unfortunately it was open for invitation guests only, *sigh*.

Well said, we were pretty pointless come to Canggu area without being able to enjoy the atmosphere of Finn Beach.

Because we had traveled far enough into this area, we decided to look for a restaurant or cafe which was quite famous here. And then we arrived here at Little Flinders, suggested by one of our friends who is a Bali Food Blogger.

The place wasn’t kind of a fancy restaurant, or can be called like a semi-outdoor cafe. Everything looks so simple and a bit nautical touches here.

So long story short, we were attracted by their pasta selection, and here are two pastas that we ordered during our “lost in Canggu”

Linguini E Vongole (IDR 95.000), Balinese ‘batik clams’ tossed with garlic, chili, white wine, dill butter and crushed tomatoes. Looks good but the taste wise needs a little more “kick” as it tend to a sweet taste character from the tomatoes.

Spaghetti Aglio E Olio (IDR 60.000) + add mushrooms (IDR 15.000), consist of garlic, chili, herbs and parmesan scented extra virgin olive oil. The taste was good enough, simple but nice.

Iced Thai Tea (IDR 30.000)

Diet Coke (IDR 30.000)

For short, we really love the ambience there, the ambience of Canggu, and the ambience of the restaurant itself. Everything was just so simple and relaxing during our visit. Food (pasta) needs a little more magic from the Chef, but it was not a bad experience at all.
